Sharon Ann Vochoska went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 4, 2021. She was born in Houston, Texas on Sept 24, 1942 to Benjamin Henry and Cleo Ettie (Peterson) Dworacek. She met her husband to be, Raymond Daniel Vochoska, on a visit to the city of West, Texas, when her red hair caught his eye. (She was so excited to see that red hair passed down to her grandson and great grandson)! Sharon was living in Highlands, Texas at the time and since both were in high school, two years of letter writing and phone calls would follow. When Sharon's family later relocated to Waco, the relationship flourished, and they were married on April 23, 1960. Shortly following their marriage, the newlyweds moved to Houston where she worked in the banking industry. After two sons and a move to the suburb of Friendswood, she decided to focus all her time on the family at home. Raymond and Sharon were married for over 60 years. During all those years they enjoyed many nights of family domino games and grandpa's amazing cooking. Sharon battled heath issues during her life and after a series of recent illnesses, home hospice care began in 2021. Sharon died peacefully with her husband Raymond and caregiver CeCe. Their dog "Lucky" was nearby. Sharon loved them all even calling CeCe "the sister she never had". She also loved her sons, Christopher Raymond and Jeffery Wayne Vochoska and her grandchildren, Christopher Michael, Kathleen Elizabeth, Jessa Emily and Jared Isaac Vochoska. Their great grandchildren Thomas Michael and Olivia Grace brought her great joy as well. The grandchildren call her "Nana". Sharon is survived by her husband Raymond and brother Edwin Eugene Dworacek and his family. Sharon wished for a simple gathering of family and friends. The Celebration of Life was hosted in a place of fond memories, their home, on March 13, 2021 The Neptune Society, Houston, Texas, Online obituary The West News, West, Texas, Vol. 132, No. 10, Thursday, March 18, 2021
