Bio
Charles David Brickley was born on January 30, 1948 and passed away peacefully at Casa De La Luz at the Hacienda inpatient hospice on January 24, 2021 at the age of 72. Charles is survived by his wife, Sandra Brickley, daughters Tammy Lewis (Robert) and Jennifer Bossen (Scott), and four grandchildren Katlyn and Carson Lewis, and Hudson and Sofia Bossen, all of Tucson, Arizona, his sister Susan Holman (Dave) of Denver, his sister-in-law, Wendy Krill Taylor, Ft Collins, Colorado, his aunt, Jennie Brickley, Greeley, Colorado and uncle, Don Brickley of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by other family members and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, William Phillip Brickley and Verdi Blanche Brickley, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Max and Louise Krill, first wife, Jo Angeline Heigis Brickley, and his uncle, Jim Brickley. Charles grew up on the Brickley family ranch outside of Rapelje, Montana. After living and working at the ranch for many years and a short time in Rawlins, Wyoming and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, they settled in Loveland, Colorado for 30 years. In 2002, they relocated to Tucson, Arizona to be closer to their family. Charles loved the Lord, his wife, Sandi, his children and grandchildren, and his son-in-laws. He was a true gentleman, kind to others, patient, and above all, strived to honor the Lord. After his retirement from John Deere Heavy Equipment, Charles and Sandi enjoyed being self-employed hot shot couriers and traveling to many states with deliveries. Another one of his great loves was helping his children with home repairs and camping trips with the family in his RV. His family humbly requests that any donations made in his name be directed to Interfaith Community Services, 2820 W. Ina Road, Tucson, Az. 85741.
