J.T. Cook,84,of Star City died Sunday,October 21,2007.He was born August 25th,1923,in Star City,to the late James Thomas and Mary Annabelle Bridges Cook Sr.He was a retired bread salesman,having worked for Myers,Ideal and Wholesome.He belonged to the NRA and he loved to hunt and fish.Preceding him in death were his wife,Daisy Cook;one brother,Buddy Cook;and three sisters,Rosa Cook Tidwell,Hattie Cook Peterson and Ellen Cook Blasengame.Survivors include one son,James D. Cook of Star City;two daughters,Paula Cheryl Chambers,Tiffany Gail Cook,both of Phoenix,Ariz.;one sister,Lila Kelley of White Hall;seven grandchildren;and three great-grandchildren.Funeral Services were held at 2:00pm Wednesday,October 24th,2007,at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel in Star City.Bro.Nathan Petty officiating.Burial is in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
