October 12/29, 1814 Johnston County, NC) of Johnston County, North Carolina. Husband of Sarah "Sally" (Lassiter) Whittington. Sarah "Sally" Lassiter was the daughter of Elijah Lassiter (b. August 4, 1762 Northampton County, NC, d. March 4, 1848 Johnston County, NC) and wife unknown of Johnston County, North Carolina. Solomon Whittington devised his will on February 27, 1844 in Pike County, AL. It was proven in Pike County court on June 5, 1844.
