Obituary--Bloomfield Democrat, October 26, 1933. Hulda E Comer, daughter of Mr and Mrs J.W. Comer, was born in Davis County, Iowa August 17 1866 and has lived in Davis County all her life. She passed from this life October 22, 1933 at the age of 67 years, 3 months and 5 days. She is one of the family of 7 children and the first to go, leaving in her departure 4 brothers. John W of Bunch, William R. of Selma, A B of Floris and Samuel of Oklahoma. Two sisters, Mrs Mary Noel of Floris and Mrs Martha Morford of Bloomfield also survive. She was united in marriage to J R Eddy in March 1883. Mr Eddy passed away April 13 1909. To this union 2 children were born, C R Eddy of Bloomfield and one daughter, Bertha, who passed away October 30, 1898. The son C R Eddy and the 4 brothers and 2 sisters mourn her departure from this life. Mrs Eddy confessed for faith in Christ some 40 years ago at the Mt Gilead Church and has been a member of The Church Of Christ at this place until her death. Funeral services were held at the Mt Gilead Church Of Christ Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Burial was at the cemetery there. Rev J R Adams had charge of the rites. The stone is missing.
