Obit: Melvin Ray Autrey, 58, of Springtown, died early Monday morning, February 25, 1991, in an Azle hospital. Born December 13, 1932, in Springtown, he was a serviceman for a water softener company. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the US Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Springtown. Survivors include one son, Pearcie Autrey of Springtown. Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, February 27, at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown with the Rev. Brad Sheffield officiating. Burial will be in Springtown Cemetery. White's Funeral Home of Springtown is in charge of the arrangements. Published in the Springtown Epigraph Feb 1991
