Bio
Son of Marion Arthur Autrey and Georgia Faith Green Obit: Belton Ray Autrey of Rte 1, Springtown, died Thursday morning in Fort Worth. A native of Ellis County, he was born May 27, 1906 and has been a resident of Springtown for the past 50 years. He was a retired dairyman and member of the Springtown First Baptist Church. Surviving him are his wife, Verna; one son, Melvin Autrey of Springtown; one grandson, Pearcie Autrey of Springtown, three sisters, Mrs. G E Shanz of Dallas, Pearl Springer of Dallas and Ann Jackson of Houston; three half brothers, Marion Autrey, D D Autrey and Lee Autrey all of Waxahachie; one setp-brother, Pat Ramsey of Waxahachie. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am in the White's Springtown Chapel with the Rev. Rang Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Springtown Cemetery. White's Funeral Home of Springtown is in charge of arrangements. Published in Weatherford Democrat March 3, 1983
