Bio
Louis Francis Knaebel, 89, of Jefferson City, died Friday, October 12, 2007, at Oak Tree Villa in Jefferson City. He was born August 6, 1918, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Helena (Toebben) Knaebel. He attended Immaculate Conception School in Jefferson City. On June 22, 1942, he was united in marriage at St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City, to Mary Elizabeth Schwaller, who preceded him in death on December 11, 2006. Louis worked for Lockheed Corporation, Burbank, California, for thirty-five years until his retirement in 1982 as a Procurement-Expeditor. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is survived by a sister: Emily Rose Meyer of Bonnots Mill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence Knaebel and Charles Knaebel; and one sister: Estelle Knaebel.
