Published in The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, AL, Monday, June 9, 1980. Thomas David Wallace, 74, of Athens, died Saturday in the Athens-Limestone Hospital. The funeral was Sunday afternoon at McConnell Funeral Home chapel with burial in Pettusville Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Barbara Siniard Wallace; four daughters, Mrs. Maxie Hargrove and Mrs. Connie Jackson, both of Athens, Mrs. Shelby Jean Wales of Elkmont and Mrs. Geneva Whitt of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Wendell Wallace of Athens and Vaulton Wallace of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Spence of Indianapolis and Mrs. Lena Mae McDonald of Decatur; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
