Richard Paul Culler, richardpculler at msn dot com, provided the following information: His death notice in the Carroll Chronicle, Carrollton, Ohio, Friday, January 21, 1876. Amos--died January 18, 1876, of consumption, at his residence in Perry Township, William R. Amos, aged about 51 years. Deceased was a man of many good qualities of mind and heart. He leaves a wife and seven children. His remains were interred in the U. B. burying ground near Perrysville yesterday afternoon.
