Bio

JACKSON, Mrs. Willie V. of Granger. Age 86. Died 12/11/1972 (Monday) in a Taylor hospital following a lingering illness. Services held (Thursday) from Condra Funeral Home in Granger. Burial in Granger City Cemetery. Brother Clyde Majors of Waco officiated. She was BORN 2/23/1886, the former Willie Teague. SURVIVORS: 4 daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Crosby and Mrs. Zora Fulcher of Houston, Mrs. Eva Melton of Hutto and Mrs. Inez Melton of Austin; 3 sons, Nelson Jackson and Ross Jackson, both of Austin and Willard Jackson of Little River; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren. Jimmie Melton of Thorndale is one of the grandchildren and Mrs. Tom Teague also of Thorndale was a sister-in-law.
