Marie Martha Kaulfus December 21, 1926 - February 11, 2021 Marie Kaulfus, 94, of Cameron and formerly of Temple, died Thursday, February 11, 2021 in a Cameron nursing facility. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Terry Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Seaton Cemetery near Temple. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Kaulfus, a homemaker and farmer, was born December 21, 1926 in Caldwell to Joe G. and Albina (Lesikar) Chaloupka, one of eleven children. She married Friedrich Kaulfus on June 5, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 2012. She was a life-long member of Salem Lutheran Church near Barclay. She was also preceded in death by her ten siblings. She is survived by: Son Ronald Kaulfus and wife Irene of Cameron, 3 grandchildren Ashley & Aaron Good, Aaron Kaulfus & Austin & Shelby Kaulfus; 3 great grandchildren, Trinity Good, Jase Chaney and Emory Kaulfus In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church.
