Bio

Clara Olga (Chaloupka) Kramer, 82, left this world to go to her eternal home on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the College Station Medical Center. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Needville, TX. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., at Immanuel United Church of Christ, under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, Rosenberg, Texas. Interment will follow in Needville Public Cemetery. Clara was born in Temple, Texas, to the late Joe G. and Albina (Lesikar) Chaloupka. She attended Lost Prairie School in Ratibor, Texas, near Temple. Clara married Edwin William Kramer, Sr. on June 20, 1954. They lived in Needville and College Station. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, on February 11, 2001; brothers, William Chaloupka and Edward Chaloupka; sisters, Rose Wilde, Agnes Love, Lydia Foley, Mildred Chaloupka, Vlasta Machann and Adele Stephenson. Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Cupp and husband, Ricky, of College Station, and Ruth Hardy and husband, John, of Gause; son, Edwin Kramer, Jr. and wife, Natalie, of Magnolia; grandson, Randy Cupp; granddaughters, Emily Stanton and husband, Jacob, Courtney Kramer and Katelyn Kramer; sisters, Albina Dornhoefer and Marie Kaulfus, both of Temple; sisters-in-law, Dellarene Chaloupka, of Rosebud and Adella Jalowy, of Conroe; many other relatives and friends.
