Bio

Juanita Mae Krueger (nee Lemke), age 80, a resident of Wild Rose Manor, formerly of Medford, Waukesha, and Redgranite, passed away Friday afternoon, March 20, 2015 at the Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital. Juanita was born October 14, 1934, in Medford, Wisconsin, a daughter of Martin and Esther (Weidemen) Lemke. She married Darrell Lee Krueger July 16, 1955, in Waukesha. Darrell preceded Juanita in death August 28, 2001, following 46 years of marriage. Juanita had been employed at Waukesha Cutting Tools as a cutter-grinder from 1967 to 1989, when she retired and moved to Redgranite. Juanita was a supporter of Jake-Fest in Redgranite. She enjoyed watching the Green bay Packers, gardening, and doing plastic canvas crafts. Most of all, Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Patsy M. Krueger of Redgranite; a sister, Norma Jean Gale of Sparta; and a brother-in-law, Clifford Smith of Waukesha. Juanita is also survived by Darrell's family, Bob (Mert) Krueger of Washington; Jim Krueger, Pete (Kathy) Krueger, and Ron (Sharon) Krueger, all of Waukesha; and Karen (Joel) Hoepper of Florida. Preceding Juanita in death were her husband, Darrell, her parents, Martin and Esther Lemke, and her brothers and sisters, Eldean "Red" Brown, William (Cecelia) Lemke, Bernice (Larry) Yeager, Iva Belle Smith, and Darlean (Ron) Polinske, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
