William "Bill" Box, age 73, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. William was born January 22, 1948 in Gorman, Texas. William was a native of Sulphur and a longtime member of Maplewood Church of Christ. William proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. William enjoyed fishing and hunting and visiting with his friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Morgan and Ellen Box. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Shirley Box; a daughter, Marci Dannettei Hall; grandson, Austun Dean Hall; step-son, Curtis David Butler; step-daughter, Erin Michelle Sonnier and husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Carson and Sloan Snead; sister, Mary Ella Soileau; and fur baby, Lily. Visitation and services are pending under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
