Bio

Frank Bernard Mokry, 86, of Miami, Florida went to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, February 7, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Mokry; mother, Anna Marie Mokry; his brothers Gilbert and Alfred; and wife Martha Mokry. Frank was born on November 15, 1934, in Granger, Texas. He served as a radio operator in the US Air Force (USAF). After serving in the USAF, he eventually pursued a career in Aviation as a commercial airline pilot. His aviation career spanned some 50 + years. He traveled the world as part of his flying. His favorite destination was Hawaii. He is survived by his 11 children: Yvonne Grokulsky(Stanley), Michael(Robin), Kenneth(Debbie), Eric(Mary Ann), Frank(Cheryl), Gwendolyn Campbell(Don), Mark(Karen), Gary(Elizabeth), John(Dena), Gabriel(Kellie), and Dominic(Lauren), 22 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister Gertrude Krenek, brothers Bernard, Andrew, Raymond, and Alfonse; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation for Alzheimer’s/ Dementia research or a favorite charity.
