CHILDRESS - Nina Charlene Lankford, 74, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Lankford was born Feb. 13, 1933, in Colleyville, Cottle County, to Samuel Ernest and Suephelia Merrill Smith. She married Durl Lankford on Aug. 30, 1952, in Childress. Survivors include two daughters, Durlene Lankford Worthington and Brenda Lankford, both of Childress; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
