Oil City Derrick, March 30, 1970: Pleasantville Woman Dies In Hospital TITUSVILLE - Mrs. Gertrude Jane McWilliams, 58, of Dunham Road, Pleasantville, widow of George C. McWilliams Sr., died Friday evening in the Titusville Hospital. She was born April 5, 1911, in Venus, a daughter of William H. and Anna Van Camp Bigley. Her husband preceded her in death on April 3, 1966. Mrs. McWilliams had resided in the Tionesta area most of her life. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Harold (Marcia) Hagle of West Hickory, Mrs. John (Katherine) Robertson of Solon, Ohio, Mrs. Richard (Ethel) Sheldon of Leavisburg, Ohio, Mrs. Thomas (Viola) Stroup of Tidiout and Mrs. Donald (Gloria) Foote of Titusville; three sons, James Mealy of Leeper RD 1, George McWilliams, Jr. of Pleasantville and Wayne of Titusville. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Lydia Fredericks of Bradford and three brothers, Harry Bigley of Eldred, Glenn of Bradford and John of Venus. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Raymond W. Arnold Funeral Home in Titusville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Ralph Remine of the United Methodist Church of Tionesta officiating. Interment will be n the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
