Bio
Billy Wayne Ruckert, was born on Sept. 13, 1967 in La Grange. Billy died in Houston, on Oct. 22, 2018, at the age of 51. He was a 1986 graduate of La Grange High School; Blinn College in Brenham; and the University of Houston – Downtown. Billy was employed in Houston by Shell Oil Co, Compaq, and Hewlett Packard. Billy is survived by his mother, Hattie Rose Kucera Ruckert of La Grange; sister Annette Smith and husband Mitch of Florida; brothers, Chris Allen Ruckert of Brenham, Danny Ruckert of La Grange; nephew, Wesley Smith of Ohio; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Ruckert, Jr. Billy Wayne was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and loved his Savior. A private memorial service was held at a later date.
