Graveside services for Bill Ruckert, Jr., 67 a lifelong resident of La Grange, will be held on December 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM, at the La Grange City Cemetery with Pastor Joel Rumbaugh of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Bill was born July 23, 1942 and passed away on December 6, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Rose; one daughter Annette Smith and her husband Mitch of Tomball; three sons, Billy Wayne of Cypress, Chris Allen of Houston, and Danny of La Grange. He is also survived by a step-grandson, Wesley Smith , and a sister, Dorothy Garner and husband Huey, of La Grange. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Ruckert, Sr. and Albina Polasek Ruckert. Arrangements are under the direction of Fayette Memorial Funeral Home(979-968-9595).
