Joan Marie Tilley, age 86, passed away on April 21, 2024, in Conroe, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1937, to John Henry and Etola (Briscoe) Watson in Dallas, Texas. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Tilley; sisters, Mary Young and Linda Holmes; and brother, Robert Watson. She is survived by her children, Gary and his wife, Rachelle Tilley; Joe and his wife Rosie Tilley; six grandchildren, Christi Nelson, Tiffany Schniederjan, Bobby Tilley, Brittany Karr, Breahna Tilley, Brett Tilley; two great-grandchildren, Harlie Nelson and River Schniederjan; and siblings, John Watson, Alice Watson, Billy Watson, and Kathy Corley. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home, 12649 Lake June Road, Mesquite, Texas 75180. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10 a.m. with a short procession following to the graveside at Garden of the Cross, Laurel Oaks Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Tilley, Joe Tilley, Jerry Tilley, Bubba Tilley, Bubba Young, Kenneth Nelson, Luc Schniederjan, and Cameron Cummings.
