Bio

The Omaha Star , April 7, 1950, p. 7, col. 2 Arthur B. Spears, 36 years, died suddenly Saturday, March 25th at Hermosa Beach, California. Mr. Spears was born and raised in Omaha and has been making California his home since the war. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sarah Wilson, 5218 North 13th Street, brother Mr. Leo Spears, three sisters, Mrs. Arlene Austin, Mrs. Ina May Haynes, all of Omaha, Mrs. Pauline Smith, Los Angeles, California and other relatives. The body was forwarded to Thomas Mortuary where funeral services were held Saturday morning, April 1st with Rev. Emmett E. Allen officiating. Pall bearers: J. W. King, William Beasley, Edward Beasley, W. A. Brice, Alfred Haynes, A. L. Bradford. Burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.
