Mr. Wheeler owned a threshing machine and was down in the Spring Lake district threshing milo maize and kaffir. He was 67 years of and has been a resident of Herford for several years. Mr. Wheeler has been working the cotton gin here until just recently. He was a great worker and seldom found idle. He has a brother, Tobe Wheeler, living in Wichita Falls. His wife is living with one of their children in or near Ardmore, Okla. The body was brought here for interment.
