Marvin D. Trojacek, 69, passed away in Waxahachie, Texas, on Sunday, December 20, 2020, after a short illness. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Marvin was born on August 11, 1951, in Ennis, Texas, to the late Willie L. and Viola Albina (Honza) Trojacek. He grew up in Telico, graduating from Ennis High School in 1969. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ann Spaniel, on April 11, 1970, and they made their home in Telico neighboring Marvin's family farm. Marvin worked for Mobil Oil Corporation, later becoming ExxonMobil Corporation, for 46 years. He started as an Addressograph Operator in the mailroom the Monday after he graduated from Ennis High School. He received his first promotion one week after starting at Mobil. His tenure involved a variety of accounting and management positions, as well as 11 years of night school to earn his college degree. Marvin proudly graduated from Amber University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration. He retired on January 1, 2015, as the Budget and Control Manager of Aviation Services. He developed lifelong, cherished friendships in his time at Mobil/ExxonMobil. Marvin was a proud member and servant leader of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where he served as Bazaar Chairperson with Mary Ann, as well as Food Truck Chairperson with Catholic Charities of Dallas. He also served as the Finance Committee Chairperson. He was a proud member of Christ Renews His Parish and is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1353. Marvin was a longtime member of the Telico Volunteer Fire Department and served in the capacity of treasurer for many years. To Marvin, his family is everything and he loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Some of his favorite occasions included: Christmas celebrations, Annual Spaniel Annual Memorial Day celebrations, attending events for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, hanging out on the porch, gator rides, birthday celebrations, tending to the farm, listening to polka music, mealtime conversations, large family weddings, and an occasional trip to the casino. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Trojacek; father-In-law, George Spaniel Sr.; brother-In-law, Mike Tekell; and a granddaughter, Shealyn Hayes. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; son, John Trojacek and his wife, Monique, of Parkville, Missouri; daughter, Kim Allen and her husband, Brad, of Ennis, Texas; grandchildren: Jaden Trojacek, Tristan Hayes, Avery Allen, Kobe Trojacek, and Chase Allen; great-grandchildren, Rylan Brown and Jaxon Smith; siblings: Evelyn Cepak and Frankie, Dolores Rejcek, Willie Trojacek and Paula, Barbara Ludwig and Chris, Ernest Trojacek and Linda, James Trojacek and Connie, Henry Trojacek and Michelle; as well as sister-in-law, Kathy Trojacek; mother-In-law, Margaret Spaniel; in-law-siblings: Kathy Satsky and George, Ramona Jakubik and Ernest, George Spaniel Jr and Maureen, Johnny Spaniel and Judy, Cindy Brazil, Tommy Spaniel and Vickie, Judy Huddle and Jeff, Susan Tekell, Jeannie Spaniel, Karleen Henry and Jon Pat; numerous nephews and nieces; other relatives and many friends.
