Bio
Robert W. Trojacek, 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from Ennis, Texas. Robert was born in Ennis, Texas on February 24, 1953 to Willie L. and Viola (Honza) Trojacek. He grew up in Ennis and Telico graduating from Ennis High School in 1972. Robert married the love of his life Kathy Burns on March 30, 1972 and they made their home in Ennis. Robert worked for Southern Pacific Rail Road for over thirty-four years as a Yard Master. Robert served as Vice-President of the Rail Port Committee. Robert was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Palmer. Robert enjoyed doing things with and for people; he was in charge of the building and grounds at the First Baptist church of Palmer. He loved working with his cattle. One of the biggest joys of his life was spending time with his family and fishing with his grandchildren. Robert was proud of all of his family and loved spending time with each of them individually whether hunting with his son or just sitting visiting with his daughter those times will be close to each ones hearts. Robert is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rev. Paul Guantt and Rev. Grady Cashion officiating. Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
