Survived by wife; daughter, Sylvia Dean Stratton; two sons, Tommie Gerald Stratton and Sidney Preston Stratton; mother, Mrs S.T. (Alma) Stratton , all of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs Austin Langford of Quinlan, Texas, Mrs Bradford Nalls of Greenville, TX, Mrs Paul Flynn of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs Brodie Walden of Dallas; two brothers, Arlie and Eurcil Stratton, both of Dallas; eight grandchildren. Funeral services were on Tuesday, April 3, 1956 at Polk Street Baptist Church, Rev. Martin Pell officiating. Arrangements were through Dudley M. Hughes Funeral Home.
