COMER FUNERAL Eldon----The funeral for Mrs. Fay B Comer, 72, who died Tuesday in Ottumwa will be Friday at 2pm at Campbell Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Day officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. She was born in Van Buren County, January 2, 1892, the daughter of Frank and Ella Jones Murphy. She resided in Wapello and Davis Counties most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband William R Comer, in 1943. Also preceding her in death were two half brothers and one half sister. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Opal Hoover of Lansing, Illinois, Mrs. Pauline Roberts of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Bernice Thomas of Eldon; two sons, Wilber of Mechanicsville and Vernon of Stanwood; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nora Loy of Waterloo; four half sisters, Mrs. Edna Gillis and Mrs. Dorothy Stribling of East Moline, Illinois, Mrs. Jospehine Adams and Mrs Lulu Walters of Agency; one half brother Fred Hem of Ottumwa.
