Bio

Mr. Leslie Lee Fuglaar, age 90, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his home in Pineville, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services for Mr. Leslie Lee Fuglaar will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church in Pineville with Reverend Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana. Visitation for Mr. Fuglaar will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Trinity Baptist Church, 3905 Trinity Church Rd, Pineville, LA. Mr. Fuglaar was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a dedicated sports fan, enjoyed golf, held the office of treasurer for his bowling league for over 30 years, loved LSU, and was drafted as a baseball player to St. Louis Cardinals farm team. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him. Mr. Fuglaar was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Hilda Fuglaar; daughter, Tonia L. Harvey; two brothers, Thomas Fuglaar and L.T. Fuglaar and a sister, Marjorie Dunbar. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 36 years, Mrs. Lou Anne Fuglaar; three daughters, Susan Landry of Pineville, Cheryl Chelette of Zachary and Kathleen Knott of Sunset; a son Jim Fuglaar of Pineville; one sister, Patsy Nugent of Pollock; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
