Fort Bend Herald, November 22, 2020: On November 18, 2020, Ella Mae Drabek, a dedicated wife and mother, entered into her eternal reward. She is survived by the love of her life, Willie. They shared 66 years of marriage and love. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Victoria Poncik; siblings, Ruby Filla, Victor Poncik, and William Poncik; as well as son-in-law, Gary Dvorak. In addition to her husband, Ella Mae is survived by her children, Kathleen Dvorak, Patrick Drabek (Cindy), Janice Gillen (Gary), and Fr. Howard Drabek; her grandchildren include Sarah, Stephanie, Michelle, Rikki, Danni, Nichole, and Jennifer; as well as six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Josephine Kovar. Ella Mae was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Catholic Daughters, the K.J.Z.T., and the Society of St. Margaret Mary. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a rosary at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2020, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. The immediate family will gather for a private burial at West Gethsemane Gardens in Rosenberg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas.
