Occupation: Farmer ------------- Services for Arthur M. Cookston were in Levelland at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28th. He died in a hospital there December 26th. The son of Francis Marion and Sarah Adeline Cookston was born in Royse City on December, 14th 1886. He was married to Beulah Elizabeth Cannon September 17th 1905. She preceded him in death June 5, 1965. Also preceding him in death were two sons and a daughter. The family moved from Royse City to Stamford, Texas in 1927 then to a farm near Levelland in 1929. He was a retired farmer and member of the First Baptist Church in Levelland. Arrangements were by Geo. Price Funeral Home in Levelland.
