Mary Frances Bryant, 92, passed away on November 3, 2020. Burial will be at Red Oak Cemetery. Mary Frances was born on October 19, 1928, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Mary Cassandra Jameson Batson and Luther D. Batson. She met Alvin Ray Bryant when they both worked at Safeway in Dallas. The couple married on September 12, 1945, in Dallas at the home of her parents. Alvin and Frances raised two daughters, Patricia and Mary. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Alvarado. Her family was everything to Frances. Frances loved animals and often talked about the pet donkey she had growing up. She retired from an accomplished career at LTV in Grand Prairie where she was the first female promoted to a foreman position. She loved to travel and spend time with family whether it be a long journey to Alaska or a quick drive to an Oklahoma Casino. Ballroom dancing was a joyful passion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Bryant; daughter, Patricia Callen; and sister, Beulah Woodard. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Pearce and her husband, James, of Alvarado; granddaughters, Erin Pearce, of Alvarado, and Heather Davis, of Cleburne; sister, Ida Curry, of Whitney; brother, Luther Batson, of Red Oak, and numerous nieces and nephews.
