Notes~ No stone has been found for him. Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 81-010344, for Indianapolis, Marion County, records William Earl McWhirter, white male, age 73y, a farmer, and married to Helen, died on March 3, 1981 at home, at 3343 South Lyons St. in Indianapolis, of Cardiac Arrhythmia." He was the son of Earl McWhirter, and Mabel Durham, birthplaces not noted. His wife, Helen, was the informant. He was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, Johnson County on March 6, 1981, Farley Funeral Homes of Indianapolis, in charge. [Provided by Mark McCrady and Cathea Curry]
