Bio

Johnnie Mae Holliman, of Beauxart Gardens, passed away Saturday. Born in Louisiana she was from a large family consisting of thirteen brothers and sisters. As a young woman she attended college for three years in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She married Cecil Holliman on April 12, 1941 and they enjoyed over 50 years together until his death in March of 1996. She was a sixty-two year resident of Beauxart Gardens in Jefferson County near Nederland, Texas. She enjoyed gardening and collecting dolls. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil Holliman and her parents William F. Bryant and Lilia Rose Self Bryant of Louisiana and eight brothers and sisters. She was survived by five daughters and four son-in-laws, Loretta Brown; Bonnie and Gary Eiserer; Martha and Jerry Winfrey; Rose Mary and James Bennett; Cecile and Christos Kritikakis; two sisters, Ruth Cotton and Olene Sigler; three brothers, Cecil P. Bryant; Allen H. Bryant; Casey Bryant; sixteen grandchildren, Richard N. Brown, Andrea G. Lackey, Tanya Heinzl, Gary Cecil Eiserer, Danyelle Hutcheson, Brittany Mae Eiserer, Jerry Michael Winfrey, Thomas Winfrey, John Winfrey, Jason Winfrey, Mary Rebekah Bennett, Emily Mae Bennett, Jennifer L. Bennett, Sarah M. Bennett, Taso Kritikakis, and Theonee Kritikakis; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Dr. Rick Erwin officiating. Burial at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
