Bio

Elias was the son of Ichabod and Sarah (Chapman) Brown. He was born 1 Feb 1734 in Stonington, CT. He moved to Tolland, CT and to Alstead NH in 1773. He married Abigail Olcutt in Alstead, NH on 16 June 1757. They were the parents of one daughter Keturah and three sons: Elias Brown Jr., Titus Olcutt Brown, Hope Brown.
