Lillie T. Cepcar, 91, of Temple went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, September 24, 2003 in a Temple nursing home. Rosary will be recited at 7 pm, Thursday, September 25, 2003 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Mass will be 1 pm, Friday at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with Rev. Steven Nesrsta officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery east of Granger. Lillie Teresa Pekar was born on June 11, 1912 to Bartholomew and Frances (Kupcak) Pekar in Granger, Texas. She married Julius Frank Cepcar on October 15, 1929 in Granger, Texas. Mrs. Cepcar had been a cook for the SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic School in Granger and she retired from custodial service with the University of Texas in Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius and a son, Frankie Cepcar; brothers, Ludwig, Louis, Willie, Charlie, Albert, and Joe Pekar; sisters, Louise Zak, Sister Pacifica. Sister Balbina, Sister George Marie, Christine Elliott, and Frances Repa. She is survived by her daughters, Martha Lefner and husband, Gilbert of Temple and Janie Zbranek and husband, Louis of Pflugerville; grandsons Michael Lefner and James Lefner and wife, Monica; granddaughter, Kathy Zbranek Norwood and husband, Ron; and great-granddaughter, Rebecca Lefner; sisters, Millie Trcka of Taylor and Hattie Oujesky of Ft. Worth. Memorials may be given to SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church or School, P.O. Box 608, Granger, TX. 76530.
