Jack Edward Eschberger, 79, lifetime resident of Coupland passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Williamson County, Texas on September 10, 1930 the son of Walter and Eva (Kreidel) Eschberger. Jack was a farmer, and member of the Yegua Creek Evangelical Free Church. Jack married Agnes Srnensky on October 29, 1950. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janie, and brother Walter Jr. Jack is survived by his wife, Agnes Eschberger; daughter, Susan Ward and husband John; three sons, Randy Eschberger and wife Suzette, Daryl Eschberger and wife Kathy, and Phillip Eschberger and wife Kathy; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, August 20, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Condra Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Nygard and Pastor Frank Simcik officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons. Condra Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. [Published in Austin American-Statesman on August 19, 2010.]
