Hellon Ruth Gann, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Mitchell Cemetery in Iredell. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Hellon was born in Iredell to the late William and Martha Hensley. She married R.Y. Gann on May 3, 1942, in Iredell, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1994. Hellon was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stephenville, a past member of the Zonta Club, and a member of the Iredell V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: son, Rodny Gann and wife, Cindy, of Arlington; grandchildren, Noble and Meredith Gann of Arlington; sister, Faye Howell of Stephenville; and brother, Ray Hensley of Fort Worth.
