Martha Helen Winkler, born in Holland, Bell Co., TX - Daughter of Frank Joseph Winkler Sr and Bertha Mary Kubacek . Sister of Angelee Marie , Ludvik Jozef (Ludwig Joseph) , Agnes Albina , Elizabeth Frances , Johanna "Marie" , Frank Joseph "Frankie" Jr and Patricia Joan Winkler. Martha married, 26 Jun 1948, Eugene "Genie" Jaecks , a son of Oscar Albert Jaecks Sr and Lena J Mayhall . Martha and Genie had no children. Martha died at Rices Crossing, Williamson Co., TX. ~~~~~~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~~~~~~ Martha Jaecks, 81, lifetime resident of the Rices Crossing farming community, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her residence. Martha was born Sept. 18, 1926 in Holland, Texas, the daughter of Frank Joe and Bertha K. (Kubacak) Winkler Sr. On June 26, 1948 she was joined in marriage to Eugene "Genie" Jaecks. She was a farmer's wife and a farmer herself. Martha was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, Angelee Gola, Agnes Turner, Elizabeth Eulenfeld and Marie Taylor, and two brothers, Frank Joe Winkler Jr. and Ludwig Winkler. Helen is survived by her sister, Patsy Schlickeisen and husband Willie of Bastrop; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The Rosary will be prayed Thursday, April 3, at 7 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home, Taylor. Funeral services will be Friday, April 4, at 2 p.m. at Condra Memorial Chapel with Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor City Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Freddy Gola and Nick Ochoa. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Turner Jr., Jeff Taylor, Jay Jaecks, Brian Winkler, Willie Schlickeisen, Mark Taylor, James Reyna and Jay Mikulencak.
