Bertha D. Hasher farmed with her husband on Blue Creek, south of Billings until 1960 when they moved into Billings. She then took care of the children until 1965 and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Blue Creek Women's Club and enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Mrs. Hasher, 87, of 1005 N. 24th St., died Wednesday evening in the Carbon County Health Care Center in Red Lodge where she had resided since June, 1984. Born in Odell, Neb., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Avey, she grew up in Kansas and Nebraska, and moved to Billings in 1935. She married Charles Hasher; he died in 1965. Survivors include two sons, Harry of 1005 N. 24th St., and William of Lewiston, Idaho; a sister, Mamie Milan of Auburn, Neb., seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Smith Downtown is in charge.
