Bio
Martha Raye Grunenwald, age 82, passed away on May 7, 2020 at her home in Athens, Texas. She was born on June 1, 1937 in Center Point, AR, to Harley Delmar Linvengood and Lois Christine Shaw Livengood. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Eric (Butch) Kirby; grandson, Colby Waltman, her sister, Kay McGuire; great great grandson, Ryche Song. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. Martha loved spending time with her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 53 years, James W. Grunenwald; her brother, Gary Livengood and wife Teri; daughters, Benita Littleton and husband Roger of Athens, Becky Waltman and husband Calvin of Kemp, Denise Weishuhn and husband Kenny of Fayetteville, Elizabeth Widmer of Logansport LA; son, Kyle Kirby and wife Mary of Irving; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchldren and four great great-grandchildren; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Private family funeral service will be held Saturday May 9, 2020. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements by Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
