Bio

George was hit by a passenger train and received injuries that proved fatal. He died in his home in Houston on Saturday 7 Sep 1912. His remains were buried in the New Tabor Cemetery. He was the son of Joe Surovik who lived in the New Tabor section of Burleson County, Texas. He leaves a surviving a widow and four children. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. J J Nedbalek and Mrs. J Ondrasek, four brothers, Joe, Frank, Walter and John Surovik.
