Funeral services for Bonnie Faye Brister, 82, of Deridder, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Bro. George Swain officiating. Burial will follow in the Brister Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 10:00 A.M until time of service in the funeral home. Bonnie was born on July 26, 1939 in Dequincy, Louisiana to her parents, William & Jewell Droddy Kingery. She passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in the University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Raymond Brister, son; Garland Ray Brister; daughter; Sandra Roshong Ashworth; brothers; David William Kingery, Billy Ray Kingery, John Henry Kingery, and Tommy Kingery, sisters; Eva McCarty, and Patricia White. Left to cherish her memory is her Sister; Wanda Faye Kingery of Dequincy, LA., Two Grandsons: Brandon Roshong (Jessie) of Pitkin, LA., and Blake Wologo of Leesville, LA., Granddaughter; Courtney Brister of Leesville, LA., and Three Great Granchildren.
