LASINSKY- Cecilia F, 94, of Ebensburg, passed away May 18, 2019. Born August 3, 1924, in Bremond, TX, daughter of the late John and Magdeline (Kapchinski) Syzdek. Preceded in death by husband, Frank W. Sr.; son, Larry; sister, Katherine; and brothers, Lige and William. Survived by children, Frank (Clare Ann) and Cecilia (Randy), as well as daughter-in-law Tammi; grandchildren, Melissa (George), Frank (Mandy), and Sandy (Jon); six great-grandchildren; and brother, Bruno. She was a member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Ebensburg; and also enjoyed gardening, with a special love for flowers. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery.
