Daughter of Emil & Anna (Rousek) Mathauser. Married to Walter Carlson. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter, and is survived by her children and their spouses: Robert and Carlene Carlson of Denver, Colorado and Dr. Thomas and Carolyn Cadier of Athens, Georgia; as well as her brother and his wife, Eldon and Deloris Mathauser of Newport News, Virginia, and her sister and brother-in-law, Lydia and Donald L. Severson of Grand Island, Nebraska, numerous cousins, a niece and nephew.
