Zakovec Cedar Bluffs - Funeral services for Frank R. Zakovec, 83, Route 1, Cedar Bluffs, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Presbyterian Church in Cedar Bluffs. Mr. Zakovec died Wednesday at his home. He was a retired farmer. He was born April 3, 1904, on a farm near Morse Bluff until 1936 when he moved to the Cedar Bluffs area where he farmed until 1980. Mr. Zakovec married Mary Sedlacek, June 5, 1928, in Fremont. She died May 23, 1985. Survivors include a son, Rolland of Cedar Bluffs; two brothers, John of Weston and Louis of Morse Bluff; a sister, Mrs. Louis (Emma) Vech of Cedar Bluffs; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The Rev. Don Ball will officiate Saturday's service. Visitation is in progress at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend. A prayer service will be there at 7 tonight.
