Bio

William Everett McCully was born on the family farm in Clark, Missouri to Tollman G. McCully and Matilda Fowler. He worked in a bank in Moberly and married his wife, Alva Dixon, in the Christian Church in Moberly. In 1919 they moved to Colorado for his wife's health and lived in Denver for over thirty years. Mr. McCully was fatally injured in a car wreck in Phoenix while riding in a car being driven by Harry Alexander John. Mr. John survived the wreck only to die about ten minutes later from an apparent heart attack at his home. The body of Mr. McCully was returned to Denver for burial.
