Bio

Douglas Green Graveside services for Douglas Green, 82, Tyler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Enron Cemetery, Upshur County, with Dan Williams officiating. Arrangements under direction of Croley Funeral Home, Gilmer. Mr. Green died Sept. 8, 2007, in a Tyler hospital. He was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Upshur County to the late Elmer and Evie Green. He served in the Navy Seabees during World War II, and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by daughter, Danis Green in 1999. Survivors include his wife, Clovis Green, Tyler; sister, Ethlyn Elwell, Oklahoma City, Okla.; nieces and nephews. [Published in the Tyler (Texas) Morning Telegraph on 09/09/2007]
