Obituary for Clovis Green Graveside service for Mrs. Clovis Green, 93, of Tyler will be held Friday, October 19, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Enon Cemetery in Upshur County with Bro. Wayne Norvell officiating. Mrs. Green passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Tyler. Mrs. Green was born November 25, 1924 in Upshur County to the late Claude and Annie (Arnold) Elwell. She attended East Texas State University and received a degree in education. Clovis worked as a school teacher until her retirement and was a member of Willow Oak Baptist Church. She is survived by her nieces, June Doigg of Dallas and Vickie Paschal of McKinney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Green is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Green; her parents; daughter, Danis Green; brothers, Truman, Audus, Royce, and Rex Elwell; and sisters, Ray Bernotovich and Bonnie Dean.
