Bio
Jerry was the daughter of Gerald Winifred Dickey and Lota Pearl Ross Dickey. Her father is buried in New Addition Palestine City Cemetery. Her mother is buried in Garden of Memories. She buried beside her husband, Billie Ray Spence. OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Tuesday, 12 April 1977: Mrs. Jerry A. Spence, 34, of Dallas died Monday morning in a Dallas hospital following a brief Illness. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Garland Road Chapel under the direction of Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Teasdale and the Rev. Felix Kendell officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart with Bailey Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Billie R. Spence; two sons, James Eldon Spence and William Ray Spence; a daughter, Joanna Spence; her mother, Mrs. Lota Dickey and an aunt, Miss Eloise Ross, all of Dallas.
