In Memoriam PAULETTE O'NEAL August 28, 1946 ~ August 10, 2020 (age 73) Paulette O’Neal, 73, passed from this life on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on August 28, 1946 to the late Maudie Mathews Dollarhite and James Andrew Dollarhite, and was the youngest of four children. In college, she played fast pitch softball at Eastern State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma. “Polly” preferred the outdoors; she loved hunting and fishing and was an expert marksman. She enjoyed all sports and was an avid Sooner fan for both football and women’s softball. During her time in Broken Bow, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. Her life was transformed with the birth of her son, Patrick Todd O’Neal in 1972. He was the light of her life and she devoted herself to raising him to be a strong and kind individual. Paulette is survived by her son, Patrick Todd O’Neal of Ardmore, OK; a grandson, Andrew Todd O’Neal also of Ardmore; a sister, Maurine Dollarhite Eason of Collinsville, OK; a sister-in-law, Jackie Dollarhite of Redland, OK; a brother-in-law, Benny Peters of Hayworth, OK. Four nephews: Steve Dollarhite, Anthony Wayne Holmes, Mike Peters, and Kirk Peters; one niece, Cindy Holmes Merrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Andrew and Maudie Mathews Dollarhite; a sister, Thelma Peters, and a brother Sidney “Sid” Dollarhite. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 10 am at First Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow. Interment will be in the Holly Creek Cemetery. A family visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm at the Bunch Singleton Funeral Home. The family requests that funeral and visitation attendees wear masks.
